About the Amplify Accelerator

Amplify LA is a hands-on startup accelerator and entrepreneurial campus in Venice, California. Located in the heart of Silicon Beach, Amplify is perfectly positioned—physically and programmatically—to help our companies thrive. We have an unmatched team of investors, mentors and executives who are committed to helping our founders build their startups into strong, scalable, successful companies.

Amplify’s accelerator program is four months of intense collaboration: within companies, between companies and, of course, with the Amplify team. Our curriculum, designed from the ground up, is designed to help entrepreneurs amplify their business. We invest between $50,000 – $150,000 in seed funding for a 5% – 15% stake. We also provide free workspace at our Venice campus and extensive hands-on mentorship. Our portfolio companies also benefit from a variety of free or highly discounted services including hosting, legal, banking and more. We are very hands on. We get very involved. We want to see our companies succeed.

    In 2006, Mark was the co-founding Head of Marketing & Brand Partnerships at MTV in Canada, overseeing all consumer marketing and integrated sales activities for MTV’s most successful channel launch globally.

    Dennis Miller, a technology venture capitalist and entertainment industry executive, is on the Board of Directors of Santa Monica-based social service agency OPCC.
